2. Bought Claymore 2.
   Have no idea how many more before I finish. (2/??)
3. Bought Battle Pope: Genesis.
   There are only 4 volumes in this series; (2/4)
4. Bought Surrounded by Witnesses, the newest book from our receiving manager Jeff Foster. The cover art is done by the bargain lead, Kelcey Knott. Go buy it! Both are doing a signing at the EP B&N tomorrow night (Friday the 12th) at 7pm if you're interested... I'm going to get them to sign my book!
5. New Cyanide & Happiness comic to follow at end of post.
6. Waiting for Walking Dead 7:The Calm Before to come out... *le sigh* It was supposed to be in the store 09-27-2007... still waiting...

Lou Nanne, former MN North Stars player back in the day, is going to be signing his latest book at our store at the end of November... and according to our CRM Brenda, he brings a whole bunch of people... including former MN North Stars and current MN Wild players... *le drool* Gotta make sure I get to that one! Comic Con is going well. It started off fun, but the humidity from last night's/this morning's rain made it unbearable to be in the Education Bldg of the MN State Fair grounds for long. So Filthy Assistant Alex and I left 2 hours early. We were dying. And we were suffering from evil hot dogs they had in the Fortress of Solitude (Creator/Dealer lounge)... blech. Humidity + funky hot dogs = cranky comic geeks.

Dammit. My color cartridge crapped out on me. Grrrr.

EDIT 1216am: Crap. The freebie comics look... like crap. The stupid color cartridge is done, so the black ink is now red. How does that work!? I don't get it. Oh well, they're free. People get what they pay for. If they want black ink, buy the other ones.

Anyhoo. Enough about that. When I got home tonight, I left all the boxes of stuff in my car, since I have to look around the house and organize stuff so I can actually put that stuff some place. I think I have to finally deconstruct Mount Craptuvious, clean out a good chunk of my room, and put some stuff in my room (after a good cleaning...). I'm going to miss Mount Craptivous... *sniff*... *cough*bullshit*cough*... but its time has come. I relaxed by watching Ghost Rider, which had come in my Netflix a week ago. Good movie; I don't know too much about the comic it's based from, but from the few issues I read at the bastard's Joe's house, the movie stayed pretty true to the basis of the story. Now I'm interested in knowing more about Ghost Rider, since the movie can only do so much while still keeping in the PG-13 range (for wider audience appeal).

So yeah. I also want the flame horse from the movie. That was pretty kick ass.

So I'm pretty sure I've actually started WWIII with my family. I always had an idea that I would do that someday, even when I was really little. But this... yeah. Just topped it. I'm not going to my grandma's funeral this Saturday because I'm going camping in the Dells with my awesome friends from work. I'm not going to go into the reasons why I'm not going... they are my own, and that's all I'm saying. I'm so tired of trying to explain why I'm not going... when I can't even find words to explain it. So I'm not going to. So my family is basically ready to disown me (I'm not 100% sure on this, but I'm pretty certain they're not going to like me for a loooooooooong time), and my poor dad is the only one of my family who's defending my stance on not going. Yay dad. Way to stick up for your daughter. You're so gaining points with me right now.

On top of that, I'm getting ready to go camping. I'm packing and stuff, and on my way home from running errands, I stop at the bank and get some $$ from the ATM for the trip. When I was at the ATM, an odd thing popped up about overdraft protection being put into affect... okay, whatever, hit OK... got my $100, after trying two times at the ATM to get it. I get back to my house and I see that I have an email from my bank... My account is HORRIBLY OVERDRAWN.

I had mistakingly thought that my dad had transfered money over from his account into mine, since it was getting down low again. I thought he had transfered $500 into my account... so I paid some nice hefty bills... one over $240... another over $350... when my account only had about $150 in it... GODDAMN IT! Then I go and take out another $100!?! Fuck. At least I get paid tomorrow... all $200 of that stupid ass paycheck. Woo. Shit. Shit shit shit.

I need to go camping NOW. I am not in the mood to deal with anyone's shit right now.

I may not come back from Wisconsin, if I'm lucky.

EDIT: [1000pm] Had a nice little imsofuckingstupidcry in front of my dad about my overdrawn checking account... we figured out the misunderstanding on my part... he moved $500 into my account... I love my dad.

And then I saw this cartoon... and it made me feel better about life.

I wanted to open this post with a really cool movie quote I just heard on SpikeTV from Sin City, but I can't for the life of me remember it. So I opened with a quote from a Simpsons movie commercial. Speaking of the Simpsons... Who wants to go see The Simpsons movie on Friday? I work until 3pm, have a chiropractor appointment at 330pm, then I'm free the rest of the night. I want to go see it, and I haven't been to a movie in a while, and there have been so many movies that have come out recently that I haven't seen yet, even though I want to. Yeah. I also still have to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Transformers, Live Free or Die Hard, Ratetouie, and I'm pretty sure there's another one in there. Yeah. Oh, a lot from the beginning of the summer movie season: Knocked Up, and 1408.

So yeah. And if you want to go with me to any of the aforementioned movies, there might be a free bag of popcorn in it for you... ^__^

I also went to Target after work and bought some food... and alcomahol... mmmmm. Bacardi Green Apple... nuuuuummmmmm... and since I've been on anti-depressants for the last year, my alcomahol intake has been sliced in twain, so my tolerance for said malted beverage has also been sliced in twain. I'm feeling it... and it feels goooooooooooooooodddd. Now, before you call me a lush or call the authorities or whatever, know I'm not sloshed off my ass. I'm pleasantly buzzed. That's about as "drunk" as I've ever been. I've never been fall-down-can't-find-my-own-ass-with-a-metal-detector-drunk.

Although it would be easy to find my ass since I had that metal plate installed.

So I didn't go to work today, cuz I was sick last night and got little sleep. So I slept most of this day away instead. Yay! And while I was home sick, doing nothing, I found this lovely comic online. I love this comic site, and this comic made me laugh out loud!
